Editing MIDI Templates should only be done in the MIDI Assignment Editor in the KOMPLETE KONTROL Software.This means that you cannot export one individual template. All your KOMPLETE KONTROL MIDI Templates are stored in that file.Otherwise you can also create a backup for future use. If you do not need the existing MIDI Templates on the new computer, you can delete or overwrite the settings file. and enter your KOMPLETE KONTROL serial number as shown on the flyer in your product box or on the underside of your keyboard. It’s the easiest way to get all your music creation tools ready for use. Please note that you can only have one template settings file in that folder. Native Access is a small cloud-based application that handles downloads, installation, and updates for Native Instruments software. If you want to use your MIDI Templates on a different computer, you can simply move it to the same location on the new computer. ![]() Using Your MIDI Templates on a Different Computer If you want to restore the MIDI Templates, copy the file back to the original location shown above. You can copy the file 'Komplete Kontrol MK2 Settings.dat' and store it on an usb-stick or hard drive as a safety backup for future use. This article explains how to make it visible.
